Pikie Outreach Programme
Who are those young scally-wags that always seem to be on the same corner in the same clothes shouting the same abuse?
Who are those youthful kiddywinks running off with your grandmother's handbag?
In this day and age, we are quick to judge, and may be inclined to name them pikies. But is this what they really deserve? Sure, they may spend their lives getting high, stealing phones and depositing their bodily fluids everywhere possible... But have we really thought deeply about these people? Perhaps they need our help.
This is why we have created the Pikie Outreach Programme. We feel (most of the time) that these people should be changed, and not perhaps killed in the violent ways that we all imagine them to, deep down. So the next time you're in a fight with a six foot black guy wearing gold-painted plastic chains round his neck and Adidas trackies that would barely cover a grasshopper's shins, just take a step back. Ignore the knife that is coming out of his pocket. Consider his 'boys' that are closing in around you. Because these people need our full support and help.
Do something good tomorrow... Reach out to a pikie.
